Raipur// Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has expressed deep grief over the demise of senior social worker and democracy fighter Shri Mahaveer Prasad Jain of Jashpur.

In his condolence message, Chief Minister said Shri Mahaveer Prasad Jain dedicated his life to social service, national interest and the protection of democratic values. During the difficult period of the Emergency, he courageously stood up to safeguard democracy and remained steadfast in his principles. The sacrifice and commitment he displayed during that time reflected his deep dedication to democratic ideals.

Chief Minister said Shri Jain’s life has been a source of inspiration for society and his contributions will always be remembered.

Chief Minister Shri Sai prayed for peace for the departed soul and strength for the bereaved family to bear this irreparable loss.
