At Digital Democracy Dialogue, Chief Minister calls on creators to present a new image of Chhattisgarh

Raipur,/ Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai addressed content creators at the “Digital Democracy Dialogue” held at his residence in Raipur on late Friday evening, urging them to showcase the evolving identity of Chhattisgarh as a land of culture, faith, and nature.

He highlighted the state’s mythological significance, noting its association with Lord Rama, Mata Kaushalya, and Shabari, along with regions like Dandakaranya and Abujhmad. He also recalled the teachings of Guru Ghasidas on equality and non-violence.

The Chief Minister said the state, once affected by Naxalism, is now witnessing rapid transformation due to the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah, along with the efforts of security forces. Drawing a comparison Shri Sai said earlier a large part of the state was affected, but now the mainstream of development is reaching every village.

Highlighting tourism potential, he noted that Bastar’s natural beauty is gaining global recognition, with Dhudmaras village being listed among UNESCO’s top 20 tourist destinations. He encouraged creators to promote the region’s positive image.

Citing social media impact, he mentioned how cricketer Shri Sachin Tendulkar sent a cricket kit to a specially abled boy Madda Ram from Bastar after his video went viral- reflecting the power of social media.

On development, Sai said the state has received investment proposals worth over Rs 8 lakh crore under its new industrial policy and is progressing toward “Chhattisgarh Vision 2047.” Welfare schemes like “Niyad Nellanar Yojana” are delivering basic services including forest rights ‘pattas’ and telecommunications to remote areas, while events like Bastar Olympics are engaging youth.

Highlighting the digital era, Chief Minister Shri Sai said that the impact of the Prime Minister’s Digital India vision is now visible in every village, where even common citizens are making digital payments. He called upon creators to further amplify this transformation.

Speaking at the event, Vice Chairman of Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini Shri Vinay Sahasrabuddhe emphasized that Chhattisgarh is emerging as a model of peace and development, urging creators to present factual and positive narratives through digital platforms.

On this occasion, MLA Shri Kiran Singh Deo, Advisor to the Chief Minister Shri R Krishna Das, special guests including Dr Guru Paswan, Shri Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, and Commissioner of Public Relations Shri Rajat Bansal, along with other dignitaries, were present.
