Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai Speaks to Assam Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assures of Solidarity with People Amid Crisis
Raipur/ Amid the severe situation caused by floods in Assam, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has decided to provide ₹ 5 crore in assistance from the State Government to support people affected by the disaster. The financial assistance will contribute to the ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts in Assam.
Chief Minister Shri Sai today spoke over the telephone with Assam Chief Minister Shri Himanta Biswa Sarma and took stock of the situation arising from the floods in the State. Expressing his deep concern for the families affected by the floods, Shri Sai said that in this difficult hour of natural calamity, the people of Chhattisgarh stand in complete solidarity with their brothers and sisters in Assam.
Reaffirming Chhattisgarh’s commitment to extending support during the crisis, Shri Sai said the financial support reflects the State’s spirit of humanitarian concern and inter-State cooperation and will help strengthen ongoing relief and rehabilitation efforts for the flood-affected people of Assam.
